I have a fascination with the mysteries of landscapes and the beings that inhabit them. A history and hidden personality lie within these elements that cannot ever be known. By cultivating a receptive mind, I’m inspired to open myself to an intangible energy that flows through me and onto my canvas, paper, or whatever material is at hand. My prints are rarely planned in advance, so I usually start by simply mixing the colors, which I find to be a meditation in itself. There is solitude in my works; I would like the viewer be absorbed and transported into the atmospheres that I create.
